Hawthorn Suites Orlando Traveler Review

Absolutely Awful

We had won a paid trip to Orlando and were scheduled to stay at the Hawthorn Suites. When we arrived the receptionist was extremely rude and didn't even give us directions to our room. Although the title of the hotel is the Hawthorn Suites, we actually didn't have a suite at all. In fact the room was so small that it was a fire hazard for us to have a cot. The room was dated, the beds were uncomfortable and had tacky comforters, the towels were dingy and frayed, there was a mini fridge with a microwave plopped on top, the toilet clogged the first day, and the hallways were extremely dirty. Needless to say we complained and were moved to a Spring Hill Suites nearby. It was like night and day. We felt like royalty at the Spring Hill. Bottom line... do not book this hotel!
