Hawthorn Suites Limited Aransas Pass

I stayed here and the stay was great! We were informed at check in that they would have complementary hot dogs and burgers and soft drinks by the pool starting at 5pm. The staff was awesome and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. And Texas Treasure Ship was only 5-10 minutes away!!! The breakfast buffet was very good ...but get there early b/c the food just stays there if not eaten ...you want it fresh!!! There is a home cooking restaurant around the corner from the hotel....forgot the name but the food was great and very reasonable. It's across the street from the HEB on the main street. I would stay here again...we are planning a return stay here next month. also they have video cameras around the hotel ...some kids tried to use the pool and were not guests...the person at the check in desk saw them on video and escorted them off property...very cool!!! There is a Popeye's next door and plenty of restaurants across the ferry (3 miles away) very good for the money!!! please vote for me!

The suite was awesome, appointed with a refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable. The bathroom needed some cosmetic repair. The closet was off the track and I was not able to use it. I did call to report, but nothing was done. The staff was extra helpful in helping me using the internet connection when there was some problems. The phone service was off and on the whole weekend.

I liked the good location and the nice facility. The great breakfast provides everything you would need when staying away from your home.
