I spent the night there in a dog kennel – Posted Jun 08, 2008

Horrible
67 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business

My first night was miserable. A dog in the room next door yelped like it was being beaten from 9:30 pm until after 11:00 pm when its owners returned to their room and on several occasions after that barked more. The lady at the desk did not offer me another room....only made excuses. I complained that the noise was cruel and unusual punishment (on the 3rd call to the front desk) and stated if they didn't do something about it I would have to check out. The lady at the front desk said "Come on down and I will be glad to check you out." And in more than once said she was glad I offered to check out and she would accommodate me. I asked the same lady the next night for a wake up call at 5:00am. I was sick so I woke up earlier at 4:45am and sat and waited for the call so I could answer it quickly so as to not be a bother to other guests who might hear the phone ring. The wake up call was never received. I checked out immediately. I will never stay there again.

The wrong hotel? – Posted May 03, 2007

Horrible
35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business

I made a reservation in advance for AmeriSuites. Upon my arrival, I was informed they had never heard of me and did not have a room available at a federal rate. I gave the desk clerk my reservation number, but he still could not locate my reservation. I called the 1-800 number and they confirmed that I did not have a reservation at any AmeriSuites in Oklahoma City. When I returned home I discovered that the hotel had charged my credit card an $83.00 no show fee. I spoke with the manager and he stated it was my fault because I showed up at the wrong AmeriSuites. I tried to explain that I did show up, but this manager was not willing to negotiate and he was extremely rude. The charge of $83.00 is now in dispute with my bank.

Avoid the stress and pick another location.

FYI: This hotel is now Hawthorne Suites

This hotel is a nice place to stay. But I wish they had wireless Internet. I had problems trying to connect my laptop to their Internet connection. The front staff person was of no assistance.

It is practically right at the exit – Posted Sep 11, 2005

Excellent

It is practically right at the exit 156A ramp from I40 westbound, right across from Tinker Air Force Base. Its very convenient to downtown Oklahoma City a mere 4 miles away. We pulled into the parking lot and I checked in. There was coffee available ...
