Clean, available, nice location, and affordable.
It was close to the fishing location we were going to. We had breakfast so we could eat and get out fishing quickly. We had room enough for our family to stay.

After check-in, went to my room to find my toilet clogged. I went to the front desk. They gave me a plunger. Then when it would not unclog, they were going to move me to the only available room ( a Jacuzzi room) and they were going to charge me extra.
I am not likely
to return to the Hawthorn Inn & Suites Brainerd/Baxter.
I would not recommend it to friends.
