This unique hotel is famous for the special atmosphere that makes guests feel at home away from home. The city's most distinguished address is in an exquisite setting atop the Spanish Steps, in the very heart of Rome, within walking distance of the Villa Borghese park, Via Veneto, Via Condotti, and the most fashionable boutiques. With its centennial tradition, the hotel is owned by the Wirth family, the famous dynasty of Swiss hoteliers. The world-renowned Penthouse has the largest terrace in Rome, with a spectacular view of the city. In addition to the two-bedroom San Pietro suite, the Villa Medici suite on the seventh floor has a private staircase leading to the eighth floor. The recently inaugurated, three-bedroom Hassler Suite on the first floor used to be the studio of Ike Eisenhower.

It was marvelous staying here, the staff were very helpful, the rooms were simply devine, and the hotel is rich in art and tradition. My party and I were able to walk to the nearby restaurants for a bite to eat. It was great not having to drive...
Best hotel in Rome! Will go again when I am there next. Great location, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Well stocked mini bar. Power window shades were good also.
We loved this hotel because it was located at the top of Spanish Steps, non-stop action! Easy access to walk to food, all the shops, and beautiful scenery from your room. The rooms were spacious, great food, and best of all your view of Rome from...
