Hartwood Inn Motel - Page 1

I felt dirty after staying there! The bathroom had dirty handprints on the walls; hair (razor stubble) in the shower; and the sink was filthy. There was a giant hairball in the corner of the bathroom. There is no continental breakfast (so don't be fooled). Near the bed by the nightstand there was a dirty Qtip and a cig butt on the floor. We ran out of TP in our room (there was about 1/8th of an inch on the roll when we arrived -- and the tissue box was empty). If you want a cheap sleep, this is your place. But if you don't like filth, steer clear! It is probably OK for a guy who doesn't care much but I was grossed out (and my house is not exactly sparking clean).

This place was much better maintained a few years ago. This is the first time (Jan. 08) that I have stayed there and it was gross / seemed super cheap. It used to be a cute little place to stay but apparently it got new owners or something.
