Very small room. Tiny showers with no hot water. Paint peeling off walls. Carpets dirty. Housekeeping arriving late in the day and poor. Dont waste your money!

This weekend will be my fourth stay at Harrison Hall. I read a lot of reviews tonight. Americans are basically spoiled and very demanding when it comes to spending their money. This is an old hotel. It is what a stay at the beach used to be like before all the luxury hotels and condos were built. It is what I remember as a child .This is why the price is lower than the fancy hotels. If you are there for the ocean and the restaurants and the night life, this is good enough. If you want luxury when showering and sleeping, go somewhere else!
You know, some people need to realize that they are not royalty, and as long as the place is clean, and the staff is accomodating, it is sufficient. As long as you are with the one you love, you will have a beautiful time.

Okay
Conveniently located right on the boardwalk. Easy access to the beach with big wooden rocking chairs on the deck for watching the ocean and people going by. Very nice staff. But it's an older building, and the walls are thin. Try to avoid a room ...
I was afraid to stay at Harrison Hall when I read all the bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised upon check-in. The staff was friendly and curtious and the room was small but clean. The shower was not as small as I invisioned and I was able to m
I really enjoyed the porch which faces the boardwalk and ocean. It was a great place in the morning to drink my coffee and relax. I also enjoyed the staff at Harrison Hall who were friendly and always curtious. My room was small but comfortable...
I took my girlfriend to the Harrison hall last summer for the 4th of july and it was a mess. The bed sheets looked like they were stained with blood the bathroom looked like a truck stop bathroom. I work at a state prision and inmates cells are...

Stay elsewhere. The place looks to be about 100 years old and very little time and money is spent on upkeep. Carpets are old, dirty and torn. Our room was tiny and the bathroom was even smaller and in a horrible state of disrepair: Mold everywhere, numerous tiles missing, sink and shower not working properly, no hot water, the door wouldnt close. And one could easily see into the next room through the HVAC vents that were aligned. I felt like I couldnt touch anything or walk barefooted for fear of contracting a disease of some sort. It should be illegal to rent rooms in this condition. On par with camping; only camping is a little cleaner.

Night 1: Upon arrival we checked into a 2 bed standard room. We dropped our luggage off and went out and didn't return until late. That night we returned and TRIED to sleep in the beds. It seemed like there was a gigantic HOLE in the center b/c the center was so saggy, I don't think the mattresses had been replaced since it opened in 1951. The next morning we saw that the bathtub faucets were broken, there was NO hot water, and hair was ALL OVER the place. It was DISGUSTING. The desk people were nice when I insisited on being moved. They moved us into a king bed, oceanfront view, which was much nicer, although hot water was a challenge and the shower stall was horribly small.

I can't believe this dump. Rooms are TINY and smell of wet mold. The shower is about 2'x2' square. I actually hit my head on the wall when I washed my feet. Oh..and how can I forget ..NO hot water. My shower was freezing cold. Not a good way to wake up and start the day. Also about the bathroom, the damn door didn't even close. The floor was so warped, the door no longer closed. The exercise room is actually the stairs because the elevator is just a show piece. The view....sucks. When I thought I got a great deal on a room, I actually got screwed. I won't stay here again for free.
My boyfriend d I went for the fourth of July weekend. While most of the staff was friendly, we had alot of issues. First, the bathroom is so cramped and dirty that neither of us wanted to shower there.Next the lightbulb in a lamp exploded on...
