Harrah's St Louis Casino and Hotel Hotel - Page 1

The hotel was very nice, room was clean and I was weary about getting a smoking room because I dont usually smoke indoors but the room didnt smell too smokey. The only complaint I really had room wise was the soap! I have never been to prison but I imagine that this is what the soap is like in there. It was disgusting and smelled funny. We also called and requested a late check out which they gave us 12pm. When we went to check out they had checked us out 15 minutes earlier charging my Debit card....we wanted to pay cash, luckily this didnt overdraft my checking account. Overall a nice stay, I enjoyed the casino even though I lost and dinner was great. Will definetly stay again!

After booking the room for a total of $79, I was shocked to find on my bank statement that they charged me $140!!!!! WTF? The rooms werent that clean to begin with and the staff looked like they were held hostage. I only have one recomendation here, that whoever manages this dump of a hotel should look into a local fast food joint for future employment, they might be more suited for that, just maybe. I honestly think that as long as people keep dumping money in their machines, they couldnt care less how the stay was! I will be updating this review with the reasoning for the grossly exaggerated overchange. If they were honest with me up front about the room charges, I would be yelling BEWARE OF DUMP!!!
