I had the worst time at Harrah hotel and casino in Council Bluff, IA. My wife and I went on a weekend getaway there to relax and have a good time. We had a hotel room at Harris and purchased some drinks at the Harris bar. We than went over to the Horseshoe casino (which is owned by Harris) where me and my wife were deniyed acsess to enter. The security guard at the entrance of the casion was rude and inconsiderate to my wife and I. He told my wife that because of her previous drinking that evening she would not be allowed to enter. He went on to say that if she did not leave and cooperate that he would have her arrested for being drunk in public. This would have been fine if my wife would have actually been bilegerantly drunk, which she was not. After this horrific experience at this Harris casino/ hotel, we will not be returning to this paticular hotel/casino, nor any casion/ hotel in the Harris company chain.

The service was outstanding, as it always is at most Harrah's properties. The room was nicer than I expected. The restaurants were somewhat disappointing.

The Harrah's hotel is a luxury place to stay with a great staff from the employee to place my reservations to the valets, to the employees working inside the hotel and the casino. They have beautiful hotel rooms and the price fits my budget. The Harrah's hotel is the place I stay when I am in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The Harrah's hotel rooms are large, comfortable and they are well decorated, which makes me feel at home in them.

We visit this hotel frequently and the rooms are always modern and clean. The staff in the hotel and the casino is always very friendly and helpful. However, the buffet is very average.
