I've stayed in both a side harbour and a harbour view room and both view were amazing. I would recommend getting a room face out to the quiter end of Hong kong Island (the end without all the lights). This gives not only an amazing view of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Island and out to sea but in the morning the sunrises are breathtaking.
The rooms were clean with every possible need and want supplied for with room service and food more than satisfactory.
The general service from the staff was polite and helpful.
The hotels decor was amazing on a grand scale and seems very popular for weddings. Which for anyone getting married in Hong Kong I would suggest a reception here, as what could be more romantic than the lights shine over you from Hong Kong Island.
The star ferry is a 5 minute walk along the harbour edge where you can get across to the other 3 main ports, and Kowloon center is just a 15 minutes walk which includes a walk along the lane of the stars.
