The rooms are small, but are cozy, comfortable, well equipped with WiFi and the bathroom has some nice amenities too. It's worth upgrading to an upper room, where the views are fantastic - straight over the water. The hotel is next to the YMCA, where you have access to the fitness facilities and indoor swimming pool. The hotel is just steps from the Embarcadero and Ferry Building Marketplace, six blocks to SBC Park or Moscone Convention Center, and easy access to Union Square or North Beach. There are good public transport links nearby too. The hotel offer complimentary wine and beer at 5pm every day and there are also cookies and milk served in the lobby at 9pm. It'l little touches like these that make this hotel such an enjoyable place to stay. They staff are friendly and welcoming. A real gem of a hotel.
