I travel often for my job and rarely take the time to post a comment or give an "official" review of a hotel. However, I am making an exception because this hotel "claims" during the reservation process and in their marketing many amenities and luxuries that do NOT exsist. In face, not only is the hotel on a very busy and noisy highway so you can't sleep in any of the rooms without signigicant noise all night but aside from that the service is terrible, breakfast is best described as a donut and awful cup of coffee and the grounds are not maintained. Cleanliness is an issue, I was moved three times and all three rooms were dirty. The owner, happened to be there when I checked in and he was useless and didn't even comment on my problems. I do not complain regularly but my genuine issues and my desire to just get to a room where I could sleep for the evening were met with a complete lack of interest in assisting me in this. Every staff member I met was rude and not helpful including the owner. The only semi decent staff memeber was a girl at the front desk who later that evening shared with me (when I mentioned posting reviews on the hotel) that the only reviews posted for the hotel on travel sites were the ones the owners "made up" and wrote. So, after hearing that I made it a priority to take the time and post this review. I not only do not recommend this hotel I would strongly encourage anyone traveling in the area to stay at another hotel!

Seems you should know not to stay on the highway side of the building, it is real close, quite noisey in the evening. Rooms need some updating, beds are wore out. The look is deceiving, look nice but then suprise they are wore out!!!
The Hannaford is a GREAT hotel. I come to town for childrens hospital and we stay here when we come to town. Breakfast each morning, rooms are awsome, they are like an apartment--have kitchens and everything in the room is nice. The front desk...

Not worth it - the rooms smell like cleaning solvent & you can't open the windows, there's no restaurant in house, room service once a week, it's right next to the freeway... it's awful.
