46 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
It's a good place to stay for families. Other than a moldy smell at the entrance to the room, it's fine. It's convenient to kid-oriented activities and transportation and has convenient parking.

to return to the Handlery Union Square.

It was a great location. I loved the pool and the closeness to downtown SF. The staff was very friendly. It was easy to get around by walking and public transportation.

It was great value for money. The hotel was in central location that was close to everything. My room was nicely furnished. I will definitely stay there again.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The check-in and checkout was hassle-free.

I love the location of this hotel and the rooms are comfortable. I found the restaurant to have quality food and I was happy to have my meals there. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times because of this.
However, over the years, little improvements or accommodations have been made for the handicapped traveler, i.e., wheelchair bound. There are many inconveniences in this regard.
The housekeeping staff does a good job.
