Excellent
My family stayed for 2 days at the Tuscaloosa Hampton Inn during a 2 week family vacation. It was by far the best hotel we stayed in and I have to say a huge plus was the super friendly staff. They go way out of their way to make you feel welcome.

The hotel web site provided a good map and directions. The hotel is still a bit difficult to enter particularly from the north direction. The hotel was clean, reasonable, and convenient for us to attend a wedding in downtown Tuscaloosa.
The very helpful desk staff helped to put us in touch with other family members staying in the same hotel for a family wedding. They reminded us about breakfast hours and were generally helpful. They informed us about what we could and could not do with our bottles of wine under Alabama liquor laws.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Hampton Inn Tuscaloosa-University.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Its located close to main roads and a number of restaurants. They have a very friendly staff and a nice laundry facility for do it your-selfers. I love the food!
