Hampton Inn Truckee Hotel

This place has a great atmosphere-comparable to resort hotels I've stayed at for more than double the Truckee Hampton's rates. Cozy, warm, and inviting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Don't think that this is a Hampton like the thousands of others across the country-the only similarities are the rate and the breakfast. Our room had a fire place and a wet bar-great decorating!

This hotel is great. Located right between Northstar and downtown, we were able to get anywhere we wanted to go in less than five minutes. The hotel is beautiful, new, clean, and cutely decorated for the holidays. There's a big warm fireplace and comfy furniture, we loved it, it was just like staying in a cabin with out having to deal with the maintenance. I've stayed at other places around, but this one feels cabiny and social. We love it!

My company uses Hamptons all over California for our business meetings and we recently had a three day conference in Truckee. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our group feel comfortable and assist us with anything we needed including providing us with breakfast and lunch as well as arranging group outings and making dinner reservations. Of all of the Hampton Inn and Suites I have stayed in, this was superior. We don't usually go to the same place twice, but are already planning our return next year.
