Mediocre
This hotel is under renovation. We were not informed of this when we booked. Our room had wet varnish on the doors (my hand print has been captured for eternity), paint on the carpet, little furniture, and reeked of paint fumes (we had to open the...

It was actually one of the nicest Hampton Inns that my wife and I stayed in on our trip across country. It was very pleasant and had a helpful staff. The bartender was exceptionally nice.
The atmosphere was peaceful.
I am very likely
to return to the Hampton Inn Taos.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I often stay at Hampton Inn hotels because they are uniformly clean and the staff is efficient. I like the free wi-fi internet access and the free breakfasts.

This is probably one of the better hotels in Taos. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was good with hot items every morning, but they could use more tables. They had a nice indoor pool (although it was pretty cold) and hot tub. They had a good view of the mountains. Its not very close to downtown, but that is okay.

Good
Nice hotel. Clean room. Very nice staff. Good breakfast, but not enough tables. Pool is nice, but not warm enough. Nice hot tub. Nice views. Probably one of the better hotels in town.
