My husband & I stayed in three Hampton Inns during a one week trip through Virginia. All three hotels had similar amenities and appearance. These similarities were great, so we knew what to expect. They all had coffee, tea and hot chocolate available 24 hours. The continental breakfast was about the same and each hotel had a staff person responsible for the breakfast area. They all kept the area clean and filled. The beds, bed linens and towels were exactly alike and all were clean and comfortable.
This Hampton Inn had a very clean indoor pool, whirlpool and an exercise room. We were there on a very rainy day and night. Although we did not use the pool, had we been there a few years ago with the children I am sure we would have enjoyed the pool.
The only problems were minimal. There was no cell phone service in the hotel. Only right outside and the edge of the canopy were we able to make calls. The desk clerk said that that was a problem and that some guests were able to make calls if they stood near the window in their room (I forgot to try that). The Hampton Inn sign along the street should be about 3 to 5 feet higher, we drove right passed it.
This hotel is not on the main drag, so there is no traffic noise and once you know where it is you can get in and out of the parking lot fairly easy. It is only a short drive to the shopping and restaurant area.
This trip we were not there to visit Colonial Williamsburg, thank goodness, since it was raining. But the entrance to Colonial Williamsburg seemed to be fairly close.

This hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The appearance and amenities offered here are almost exactly like most other Hampton Inns. They have good consistent quality. There is an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, as well as a computer room. And wireless internet is also available. They offer a continental breakfast and there is a sweet shop open 24 hours at the front desk for a quick snack, beverage, and forgotten toiletry items. The lobby is nice and big with a large screen TV.
