We always stay at this hotel and love it. The rooms are clean, stay is quiet, free breakfast and the hotel is very attractive. The price is reasonable with AAA. On occasion the hotel staff are not the friendliest but overall a great place to stay when in Newport. So many shops in Middletown as well. We used to stay in Newport proper but got smart and only stay at the Hampton Inn.
The room was clean, room service was prompt, and our kids loved the pool! There was a blizzard that weekend and it was St. Patrick's day with multiple groups staying at the same hotel, but we never heard them.
Price high but excellent stay!

The price may be a bit over the top for where it is but compared to downtown Newport and for what you are getting, this was a VERY nice stay. The room and pool were clean, sleep was comfortable, friendly staff.

Hotel is 3 years old but looked like just a year old. Free breakfast great. In a small small room had 2 computers and printer for free use of internet. Great since didn't want to drag my laptop along on vacation. Beds very comfortable. Had fridge...
