We had made online reservations at another hotel, but upon arrival there we cringed at the exterior appearances and were afraid what the interior would be like. We immediately cancelled and called Hampton to check if they had any rooms available. Luckily, we were able to get a two-beds suite and what a relief it was! Not just the exterior of the place, but the interior, was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The "free" breakfast was better than most other places offer. We were really pleased with our stay and will stay here again when we come back next month to drop our daughter off to college at NAU.
I am very likely
to return to the Hampton Inn & Suites Flagstaff.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Excellent
We had stayed at a Hampton Inn in Albuquerque and we couldn't get over how comfortable the bed was. My husband has a real hard time staying in motels due to the uncomfortableness of most beds. We were pleasantly surprised with the Hampton Inn. ...

A few days ago, I had a reservation at the Hampton Inn and Suites hotel in Flagstaff through the GM's son. However, due to miscommunication, the room was canceled. When I came to check in, I ended up talking to the owner. Never have I been treated so terribly. This woman had no understanding of what customer service was. She flat out called me a liar and refused me service since "there was no way for me to be happy at this hotel." The lady working the front desk was very nice and very helpful. Actually, she was the one who corrected the situation and made sure my guest and I were taken care of. The owner was too concerned with her own dignity that when she was mistaken about a fact (having rooms available that were confirmed by the front desk worker), she flat out refused to allow the rooms to be rented. Indeed, myself and another customer were sent to other hotels! The worst part was that it was a calm situation that owner over-reacted to. The other customer was renting rooms to celebrate a birthday party for her child. She was given a room that I needed and I held a room she needed, but the owner refused to allow us to swap rooms. We were both sent away from the hotel because neither of us "would be happy there." In the end, we both ended up at the same hotel unknowingly until we ran into each other an hour later. After this experience and horrible treatment, I ask that you please have caution at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Flagstaff, AZ. The owner has her own agenda and a precription for some kind of upper. She does not believe in customer satisfaction but believes customers can only be happy when satisfied by other hotels. Honestly, her motto, clearly expressed to the other lady and myself, is "If your not 100% satisfied here, then you can go to another hotel, which will make us all Happy!" But don't worry, the Hampton Inn and Suites will book you a room there! Nicole

The staff was wonderful. They were so busy with other guests that they still found the time to take care of my needs. They helped planned a fun filled vacation for my two teenage sons, and if you have teenagers you know how hard that can be. The...
