Having tried several other hotels in the area we have chosen Hampton Inn hotel as our favorite. Our reasons include convenience, comfort, value, attractiveness and we really like the breakfast. We are usually there off season but we like it enough that we do not look elsewhere anymore.

I travel to Chincoteague for business very often and have traveled there for the better part of the last 15 years. I have stayed in just about every hotel on the island and must say the HI&S is the best hotel of them all.
Great people work at this hotel and they make you feel like you are an old friend. The amenities are excellent since the hotel is relatively new and it has been kept up to a high standard. With just a few exceptions most of the other hotels on Chincoteague are old, dark, dank, musty and in dire need of renovations. So when HI&S opened it was a welcome addition to the islands selections of hotels.
This hotel has been chosen as the number 1 HI&S in America for 2005 and 2006 by Hilton Hotels. You will not be disappointed by staying at this hotel on your next visit to Chincoteague.
