Hampton Inn Southlake Hotel

First let me say, this hotel is in an excellent location and the housekeeping staff is wonderful. The biggest turn-off for me was when requesting a microwave and refrigerator for our week long stay, we were told that this would not be offered because of the discounted rate we paid. The desk clerks were snooty and rude. The free breakfast was disappointing and very lacking in selection. The fitness room is hot with no water or towels furnished. Also, no indoor pool. Do yourself a favor, stay at the Drury Inn where you will have more bang for your buck.

The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. An icebox and a DVD player hooked to the TV would be a great addition. The breakfast provided was a welcome treat along with the morning newspaper. I normally have cereal with milk for breakfast but the cereal varieties were not much to my liking. The computer room was great to have available but the computers did not function as well as they should have functioned.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The atmosphere, the pictures and the amenities available made me feel relaxed.

We were given a printout of the directions and address of the hotel. When we arrived, they said that the hotel where our reservations were was back a couple of exits. After driving 15 hours, that was very disturbing.

The hotel was nice, but check in was slow. They offered coupons to local restaurants and didn't have any or know where to find them.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Recognized me as a hilton honors member with water and amenities.
