The area was perfect. close to all the attractions of San Diego we wanted to see. it was right next to 'Little Italy' and they had a great restaurant where we had more than our share of amazing Italian food. the room was nice and...
PROS: Clean. Courteous. Comfortable. Very modern inside. Convenient to the Trolley. Next to the train tracks; I Like Trains, and I enjoyed watching them go by. One trolley stop from the main train depot which is convenient if you arrive by...
The hotel staff was friendly, but I would never stay at this hotel again. The hotel itself is literally 50' or less from multiple train tracks and there are trains going by and blowing their whistles all night long. I am a sound sleeper, but...
50 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I stayed here in Aug '07. Elevator & Hallways were warm.. Room was small and the are right next to a freight train tracks. Which seems to rumble by about every 30min until 10p.
I will say it was great to be with in walking distance to the Downtown harbor and the USS Midway and other things,
It did feel very safe there, left too early to enjoy the free breakfast.
But I would come back and stay there again for leisure..

The hotel itself was really nice, the staff was great. The drawback is the train horns throughout the night and early AM. Request the street side away from the tracks.
