I got help from the employees to be familiar with the area and with other Hampton Inn locations as we traveled from one Hampton to another and the desk clerk had no idea how to get to the second one.

The only things I really didn't like about it were that there wasn't enough parking, and the spots were very cramped, and also that it was right next to a couple of strip clubs.

The hallways were extremely warm and stuffy!
This hotel made me feel secure: All outer perimeter doors required a key card to enter.

This particular location seemed to try harder to overcome the seedy area it's located within. It worked for me.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: Compared to the area (adult clubs, etc. ) the hotel was family-friendly, warm, and smartly appointed. Typical San Diego hotels are crusty, worn, and have a cheap feeling. This has none of those.
