Mediocre
I had a reservation to stay at this HI, but, after I arrived and checked in, I asked to see the "Fitness Center", which, I had been assured over the phone,was fully functional, and it looked good on the website. Not only was it crammed into...
1. I checked into the Hampton Inn, Rock Springs, WY. I was met by a strange, discourteous, and shady night manager. She had a scornful look on her face, she acted paranoid,and suspicious of me, she acted like I was an uninvited guest to her home, who disturbed her, from whatever she was doing, instead of a valued guest checking into her hotel. I later came back for some cookies at the front desk, and she gave me a glare, like to say, "hey you are having too many cookies, I need some to feed myself and my kids, you are taking my food, now stop!"
2. When I woke up in the morning, I got a letter from the manager, telling me "Would you please stop by the front desk,. There is a problem with your form of payment." I paid cash, $120.00, what could possibly be wrong with my form of payment?
3. I should have found another hotel to stay at. I stayed the previous night - 10/27/07 - in the Lincoln Nebraska Baybridge Inn, and what a wonderful time I had. From the time I checked in, the friendliness, courteousness, and informative nature of Amie, the night manager, to the quality of the room, to the great breakfast, and the friendly staff, it was great!!
4. Avoid the Hampton Inns like the plague, it is not what they claim to be.
driving throught wyoming can be tireing so coming into a small town like rock spring it was nice to see a holiday Inn and the room was clean and the beds smell clean and the service was helpful to tell us about the town!prices were...
