I stayed at the Wyndham for five days in which I was stuck in the elevator most of the time. Having the elite suite on the ninth floor was not sweet. My 'room card' which was supposed to allow me entrance to the ninth floor did not work and most of
i rented a single for one night, it started out at 102. then the next morning i got a paper under the door that said 142. probably cuz i had a friend over. theN......when i checked my bank account they actually charged me 165.00 what a f rippoff.
Liked getting a decent free breakfast.I realize it was a smoking room, but it stunk (my mother smokes). Nice place to stay while we were visiting colleges for my daughter.
The hotel was clean & comfortable. McKnight Rd had everything - stores, restaurants, great shopping mall. We went to Pirates game & it was a short easy drive to the ballpark.
We created maps on the hotel website & they were so...

The new bed and bedding were fabulous. The room smelt good, like fresh washed linens. The check in staff was most friendly and helpful as we staggered in in the wee hours, they helped me with the bags, they got me a cup of tea and they brought it to the room.
They were helpful and considerate.
I am very likely
to return to the Hampton Inn Pittsburgh-McKnight Rd.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was a nice hotel, clean, and the staff was very helpful. The free breakfast bar was a nice touch and helped save money. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and will stay there the next time I go to visit my grandsons in Pittsburgh.
The staff was very friendly, always greeting me when they saw me each morning at the breakfast bar and always asking me if there was anything they could do to help me enjoy my stay.
I am very likely
to return to the Hampton Inn Pittsburgh-McKnight Rd.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Horrible
Reserved room was not available when we got there. And we were forced to switch rooms from one day to the next for a 2-day stay. Many more bad things to say, but no room to say it here...

This hotel was an excellent value. They had outstanding staff service. Its in a great location for museums, hospitals and educational institutions in Oakland area. They also have easy access to local interstates, but somewhat limited, yet convenient parking.
It was well maintained. They also have an outstanding, no charge, shuttle service coverage to not only airport, etc., but to the surrounding area and to the center of the city.
