We really liked the hotel and we thought it was in a good location to the campus which we were attending a conference at. However, the room smelt of smoke and though the staff promised to use an air freshener for us, they never did. The breakfast service was very good, considering the amount of people staying there that weekend. It was a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay, other than the smoky smell in the room.
Our door had a MagCard lock and the windows did not open.

The front desk staff was super friendly. Lobby very nice with separate areas to watch TV, read, etc. Beds were very comfy. Hotel shuttle takes you most anywhere in downtown area free. Great continental breakfast. All at a reasonable price for a downtown htoel.

The Hampton Inn in Clarksville is fine although the off highway location is hard to find and even harder to get back on the highway. You have to jog over two blocks to hit a light on the main road so you can turn in the right direction. Ask at the desk, the staff is very helpful.
I originally booked this room for $89 through the Hilton/Hampton website, then decided to look into their Lowest Price Guarantee. I found a $73 rate and booked it, then called the hotel to cancel the previous booking. The manager pointed out that this was a military rate, so read the fine print. He did find an $80 rate for me, but I am still having trouble collecting the guarantee from Hilton. Do not believe Hilton, come straight to Discounthotels.
