We were very pleased with our stay. Since we are originally from Evansville, we know the area. The people at the motel were very nice, friendly, and helpful. We hope to stay there again in the future. All of the motel rooms don't seem to have enough lighting to do close work when I do my needlework. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet, and the workers are friendly. The maid even left us a snack!
The maid left us a snack and was friendly when we saw her. We were told she's worked there for a goodly number of years. At breakfast the worker found an item that I wanted to eat for breakfast. We enjoyed the area since there is a pond next door and we were able to take a walk around the pond. It was a very enjoyable stay.

I was not treated very nicely by the desk clerk. Though I requested a smoking room, it reeked of smoke, including the bedding. The housekeeper only knocked, and then walked in. I would recommend that tourists ask around before booking a hotel or check how well their last inspection went.
The upgrade of the beds made sleeping more enjoyable than past stays at different locations.

I had to take a smoking room because that was all that was open and could not believe how bad the room smelled. My pajamas smelled like smoke just from sleeping in the room. The bathroom was also not clean. Otherwise the hotel is great, I have...

This is the hotel I always stay in when on my way to West Virginia. It is clean, quiet and very friendly. The price is fair for the safety and courtesy offered.
