My husband and I stayed at this hotel before flying to Mexico on December the 8th. We took our bags from our room directly to the hotel shuttle the morning we were to fly out. At 7:55 am while at the airport my husband realized he had left my $3500 camera in the hotel room. He called the front desk manager and told her the camera was on the floor of our room just inside the door. We new exactly where it had been left. She said she didn't have time to check the room each time we called. Finally upon the fourth call my husband explained it was a very expensive camera and that I was traveling for work (I am a photographer) and why it was so urgent. She then immediately said let me go check... came back to the phone and said sorry it is not there. We know where it was left, she obviously stole it. We had to stay at this same hotel on our return since our car was there. We had the pleasure of meeting her the morning following our return. Our confidence was not built up, considering she was wearing a stained t-shirt with a holey shirt over it and she looked as though she hadn't seen a shower in some time. We very kindly asked her for any info about the day the camera disappeared and to talk to the general manager. She was hateful, told us the GM refused to speak with us unless we wanted to stay an extra night and talk to him the next day! Told us she could not help us, but we were more than welcome to call the police - which we did.
We also filled a report with the hotels insurance, who informed us that they did not cover employee dishonested! My husband who is a Diamond member with Hilton, also called Hilton customer care, they said they take no responsibility for theft and that if we were to leave our belongings in the room on an extended stay and the maid decided to take any or all of our stuff... she could... it is OUR responsibility each day to remove anything from the room we do not want taken. My husband stays at a Hilton hotel on average 2 nights a week, he always has a laptop and various other equipment with him... this was not a very reassuring conversation. He also asked since they have this position of theft, if he decided to take a TV from the room then, that shouldn't be a problem then, right?... he was quickly informed that he would be promptly billed and prosecuted - OF COURSE! Other than this, the hotel was clean, the shuttle to the airport was very easy to use and convenient... but don't leave anything in your room, if you should decide to stay here.

This Hampton Inn location was perfect, spotlessly clean and luxurious! The bed was heaven, down comforter and pillows; bathroom overstocked with towels, and very polite staff. We go to this area, frequently, and this is OUR place from now on. ...
This hotel is great. Easy access to DFW, friendly staff, & a fantastic bed! Checking in and out was a breeze. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here...
