I picked this hotel from Google Maps, and then booked it using my corporate online booking service. Also, this hotel was less than five miles from the client site where we were working. We only stayed one night, but we will not stay here again. The hotel looked clean from the outside, the pool area was nice, the breakfast area as well, the rooms were nice and remodeled, but it was not the stay I neither expected nor wanted.
A few issues:
-There were ants on the wood floor by the bathroom. I did not find this out until I had unpacked and started to work.
-The alarm clock did not work, nor the radio. It was one of the newer Hampton models, which usually work.
-There was no phone by the bedside. It was on the desk across the room.
-There were no extra outlets by the bedside
-The water pressure was low, much lower then my own house and I live in FL, we do not have high water pressure.
-The TV kept switching channels when I was watching channel 20, it would go to 21, if I was watching 22, it would go to 23. Lower channels were not affected.
-Moldings were coming off around the closet, bathroom area, and also in other areas.
-The sink seemed too high, what about if you were shorter, you could not wash your hands or face, the reach would be too far.
When I checked out I told the front desk of my issues, they said they would tell maintenance, they never asked if they could do anything for me or if I was coming back to the area, which I will be in the next few weeks, but I will not stay at this property.
