The Hampton Inn Cheyenne, WY hotel is located in the southern part of Wyoming where the world's largest outdoor ''Daddy of 'Em All'' rodeo takes place. Our hotel decor is traditional with a fireplace in the lobby. Our Cheyenne Hampton Inn hotel has 64 rooms including queen and king rooms, and facilities for handicapped guests such as roll-in showers. Each room has a coffeemaker, micro-fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, data port with complimentary wireless/ethernet high-speed internet access, a large work desk and a 25 inch color TV with remote control. The Hampton Inn in Cheyenne seems to have forgotten where it is. It's in Cheyenne. They advertise rates for State Government and Federal Government employees who are working in Cheyenne, but try and GET one of those rooms! It's April 2008 and they're ostensibly "booked" thru July on rooms with Government Rates!
It's fine if they want to try and fill the place with people willing to pay $139 for a room in Cheyenne, but the "Government Rate" is a bait and switch.
The hotel is average...average for Cheyenne...and they really should consider which side their bread is buttered on.

The Hampton Inn in Cheyenne was truly a nice experience. They provided wings and meatballs at check-in, and the breakfast was the best. Nice room, and good service.

The hotel was beautiful. It had gorgeous views of Steamboat Springs. I also liked the freshly baked cookies, and the breakfast was top-notch. The new Hampton beds are to die for!
