Breakfast ends at 10:30 am, so for a vacationer that is a little early. I arrived and 10:35 and most of the food was put away.Even though I missed the breakfast, the staff was very nice and helped me put together a breakfast to take back to the room....
WE LOVED THE LOCATION, BEDS WERE NICE AND FIRM. BREAKFAST WAS GREAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE MUSTY SMELL IN THE ROOM. WHEN WE ARRIVED HOME THE NEXT DAY (6 HR DRIVE) AND STARTED TO UNPACK OUR CLOTHES SMELLED LIKE THE ROOM AND ALL OF OUR...
The parking should be included for the price. The city staff in the parking structure was not too nice. The hotel was clean, although I thought I paid for a suite I got a king and a pull out all in the same small room. What was good was the visitor...
44 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Charleston two seperate times in a two week period. The first time, I stayed 4 nights as a member of a large group and got a great room. I was very pleased with the accomondations. About 6 days after checkout I returned alone and was given a room that needed some work. The bathroom wasn't as nice (plastic vs. tile shower stall), one of the lampshades was torn and the room had a unpleasant odor. I was disappointed that The Hampton Inn was so inconsistant with the room quality (I paid roughly the same price!). However, the service I received the two times I was there was good. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was a plus.
I suggest checking your room before accepting what they give you.
