Excellent
Our family stayed here while our son attended UNC basketball camp. Small hotel but staff makes you feel like it is a five star hotel. We headed out of town to another bigger fancier Hampton Inn after our stay and found ourselves comparing...

Good
The rooms weren't bad, but both the front door and the bathroom door squeaked, like the door was too big to fit in the door jam. Not a huge problem, except we had a sleeping 6 month old in the room. Otherwise, very nice for this price point.
Rooms are smallish, but very nice.

The location was excellent for our purposes, providing easy access to major roads. The room was comfortable and very clean. It was nicely furnished with good lighting. The breakfast was better than expected and the hot menu items varied the three mornings that we were there.
The location in general contributed to the sense of safety. The atmosphere of the facility made one feel safe.
I am very likely
to return to the Hampton Inn Chapel Hill.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Not up to typical Hampton Inn standards. Rooms too small, beds too small, mattresses too soft, outdoor corridors. Extremely hard to find, directions on web site not accurate.
