Hampton Inn Bowling Green Hotel - Page 1

Hampton Inn gives you a reliably comfortable bed all over the country. This location is convenient, with several good restaurants nearby. The breakfast for the 3 days we stayed was, however, not up to Hampton standards...unless the standards recently changed. The fruit in the basket was badly bruised or empty. The cereal dispensers were very messy, and the hot food wasn't hot (nor was it tasty). The desk person explained that their normal person was on vacation. He might have given a clue to an on-going problem when he suggested that he had hoped it would be better since they had a temporary replacement.

We were very pleased with everything. The place seemed new and it was very clean. The personnel was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend it. The breakfast was also nice.

It has an inviting and clean atmosphere.

It was the first time we've ever stayed at a Hampton Inn. I was very impressed. It was extremely clean and had the nicest front desk staff I've ever encountered. The rooms were very nice, not elaborate, but very nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing. I figured it would be donuts and coffee. We were astounded at the food. The woman running it was very good, very subtle but she recognized faces the second day, and not just for our family, she greets people which was friendly but it also helped the hotel because she knew who should be there and I'm sure also if someone shouldn't be there, this protects the hotel and is good business. She was definitely an asset. We were there for the BGSU graduation in August and stayed a Friday and Saturday night. I don't foresee us needing to stay in BG again since our son has graduated but I would stay at a Hampton Inn again in other locations and I will recommend it to other families we know who still have children at BGSU. We've stayed in a lot of hotels over the last year or so, in San Francisco, Chicago, Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City, Quebec, and other cities and this ranked probably number one or two for an overall rating, honest.

This hotel made me feel respected: They looked me in the eye and spoke pleasantly and politely. They greeted me nicely but not over-the-top.
