Hampton Inn Boston Cambridge Hotel

Conveniently located. Nice enough staff. Wireless but can't use it without manager's permission.

I stay at Hampton Inns almost exclusively during my business travels (about 6 business days a month). At the Cambridge location I was moved to a new room twice in order to get the wired high-speed internet to work, and after the move the whole hotel network failed both nights of my stay, and I ended up working off the wireless access in the lobby for 6 hours. Not sure why they don't have wireless throughout the hotel, or why the wired internet failed, but either way I didn't get my work done, and won't use this hotel again.

It's very clean and free parking. The subway stop is only a short walk, also within walking distance to a mall and supermarket. Everyone was nice and friendly and the free breakfasts every morning were great.

I stayed at many Hampton Inns in many states at multiple locations within the state in the last twelve months. They were all good experiences.

Other than my ride to the airport being set up for Friday morning not Saturday, I felt valued as a customer at this hotel.
