I am only giving a 4 because the staff as friendly. The hotel and the room was more like a no star hotel. The furnishings in the room where more like second hand furniture. They had chunks missing and there were water marks. The bedding was old and dingy. The mattess was hard and lumpy. I had ask for a room with a view. I got a view of the first floor roof. I called downstairs and told them the hotel was certainly not what I expected from a Hampton Inn and it certainly wasn't worth the $153.00 I was charged. I was told that the hotel was 16 yrs old and would be remodeled in Nov of 08. I told her that made not difference to me, I was here now. I told her I wanted my money back and would find another place to stay. The rep. did call other hotels and found a vacancy at a different hotel. My suggestion is not to stay here until it has been remodeled. You will find it comes no where close to the quaility you expect and pay for at a Hampton Inn. A second note: It is across the street from mall that is barely operational. They are in the process of transforming it into an outlet mall. The only resturants close by were: Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, McDondalds, Harbor Inn and a Mexican Resturant. Very poor location.
pros: Nice rooms, comfy beds, pleasant housekeepersI've stayed at a lot of Hampton Inn's and can honestly say this location is probably THE worst in customer service. The front desk employees were very short, curt and rude to the customers - not...

This place was comfortable and clean. It was somewhat old and it could use a makeover. The staff was very friendly. The free wi-fi internet service was great as we had our laptop with us. The location was excellent as we were right next to the area we wanted to visit.
Everything went smoothly. All the staff was pleasant and polite. Services were prompt and efficient.
I am very likely
to return to the Hampton Inn Asheville-I-26 Biltmore Square.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
