It's only 20 minutes from central Guadalajara, yet it feels like another world.
The 18th century hacienda has 21st century comfort. It's only a $13 cab ride to downtown and easy to catch a bus also for 50 cents!
It's great to have a hotel that feels at home and the owner is a great host, he knows everything, where to go, what to do. The rooms are very large, some with Jacuzzis. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I’m visiting Guadalajara.
It’s worth it just for the excellent food, sitting in the shady patio, or the antique filled dining room for the breakfast that is included. After that, you're ready to attack all the attractions of this huge city once more.
