This was the perfect and most relaxing vacation I have needed for so long, especially with the winters we have in NY. A very tropical and laid-back property, almost like being in Hawaii. The accommodations were a very nice taste of old Florida, I could have been Hemmingway writing a novel at a quaint bungalow in Key West, but the prices here are the best I have found anywhere. Too good to pass up, and I am so glad I didn't. The pool is gorgeous, you could almost fall over and be on the beach (ok, one hop and one skip, and then fall on the glorious sand). It has been reported, and I can verify that the sand on Siesta Beach is some of the finest in the world. Siesta village is just a short walk. The owner was extremely friendly and courteous.
So much comes with the room; bicycles, beach chairs, TV (but who needs that when you're in a paradise like this?), toys and ammenities for the kids.
They even had a wildlife rescue guy come and save an injured pelican on the beach faster than any ambulance I've seen in NY.
My new home away from home. I want to move there.
