GuestHouse Inn Glendora Motel - Page 1

It was an unplanned trip that I happened to be in Glendora and checked into this hotel at the last moment.My stay here however was well attended and the housekeeping and cleanliness was there -which was my main concern.They cared for the guest sincerely.Fair accommodation.

The inn is a good place to get rest after long periods of driving. There are several restaurants in the vicinity, which I believe is the reason for the inn not to have their own restaurant and bar. Furthermore, a Ralph's grocery store is just right beside it so other necessities are within easy reach.

I didn't mind the wallpaper dripping off the walls, I did find it annoying that the "maid" couldn't even put a new roll of toilet paper on, she just left it on the back of the toilet. I was also charged more than the price quoted on the phone. Water dripped off the balcony all night, and my complaints were ignored by management.

Room 231 was very disgusting. The shower did not work. The TV was all blurry. The walls were grossly stained and a picture above the bed was missing, exposing a clean square. There was a square cut out of the carpet (3" x 3") right in the middle of the room exposing the concrete below. The table next to the bed had what looked liked white out all over it. The white out was also all over the closet mirror. The closet shelves were knocked out and set back in, exposing the bent nails. If I would set something on it, it would fall.

About 8 am the electricity went off for about an hour. The wall had frosted flakes on it in the corner, looks like someone got sick and it was never cleaned. The lamp hanging above the table, hanging from a chain, was all furry (1/4 inch) with dirt and dust. I left there and went home sick and laid in bed for a week.
