GuestHouse Inn Motel - Page 1

I took a chance on this hotel and lost big.

The room was freezing cold and when I took a shower, the water was barely lukewarm with only the hot water turned on. The shower had plenty of mold growing and the toilet was leaking. Shall I go on?

The TV had limited channels, but the bed was decent. The restaurant was closed for business. The manager wasn't too concerned about the moldy bathroom, but said she was happy she would get to "yell at someone" about it.

The location is convenient to the airport, off of the main arterials, so traffic noise is minimal. I appreciate the convenience of leaving my car there and riding the shuttle to and from the airport.

They were very helpful when the motel we had planned on staying at did not have the rooms that we had requested.

It was quite pleasant. We were treated promptly and courteously.

I enjoyed my stay. The TV remote was replaced with no problem. However, there is a section of the hotel where it appears long-term residents stay. They hang out together in a group and it felt a little uncomfortable to walk through the group to get somewhere. They stopped talking and laughing and just quietly watched me walk by. As a single woman, that was a little disconcerting. I loved the pool.

This hotel made me feel respected: I was asked if there was anything else they could do for me.
