The first thing that they did wrong was screw up my reservation.
I reserved a two bed room for me and my friend. They gave us a room with a king size bed. We did not want to share a bed which is why we tried to reserve a two bed room in the first place. We requested to be switched over to a two bed room and the guy that we spoke to said that all their two beds were reserved with a nasty smirk which was a bit on the rude side.
The next thing that ticked me and my friend off was that even though this room was supposed to be Non Smoking it smelt like someone had smoked in there and the cold water faucet handle on the bath tub didn't turn on and off like it was supposed to. This hotel has got a nice frosting covered exterior from the outside to the lobby but once you dig in you'll notice some bad management and care taking.
We should have made our reservations at the Super 8 not far from this Hotel. At least they can tell the difference from "2 Double Bed Non Smoking" and "1 King Size Bed Smoking."
