If your primary visit is to enjoy SF and not be in a 5 Star Hotel all day, then this is for you.
The location is excellent, cable cars are only one block away. Get a Muni Pass, 1, 3, 7 day passes are inexpensive and well worth the money. The hotel staff was very helpful. The rooms have a small kitchenette. The hotel is great for kids, there are stores like 7/11’s on most corners. If you are like my wife and me and the vacation is more important than the room that we basically sleep in, this is an excellent place.
