Greyfield Inn

I found this to be the most everpriced travel experience of my life. Food was less than mediocre and cost per day was about $750. Breakfast and lunch were the only edible meals and a simple glass of house wine cost $11.70 after all the add on charges. The house was beautiful but certainly not worth paying to see. Two nights in Savanah or Jekyl Island would be much more enjoyable at about half the price.

It was fabulous, wonderful, quiet, relaxing and they served great food! Our family stayed for three days in June of 2006 and could not have asked for a better time. We considered it like staying at the Ritz Carlton, without all of the fluff. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. Their service and food are good. It is remote, so don't plan on bringing your laptop or cell phone.
