My husband and I were attending a conference at Lakewood church and wanted a room that was close. Our room was horrible. The odor that the entire hotel had was very disturbing. There was a vent in our room that had NO cover over and leaked water

There's a reason why this hotel is priced so low. I rationalized it by telling myself that I only needed a bed and that is all I got.
The room was adequate, the free breakfast was okay if you're starving and up before 7:00. Unfortunately, I left a bag in the room when I went out during the day. When I returned the bed had been made so the cleaning staff had been there.
After checking out I discovered that an expensive digital camera had been stolen and when I returned home I called the hotel. Their response? "You should have not left your camera in the room." They acted like things like this happened all the time, and they probably do. My suggestion? Stay away.
There are many other hotels in the area where you can get a better breakfast, and not worry about theft.
I didnt have any problems with the Front Desk people. They didnt have my room ready on the first day, but they gave me another room at a discount. Then the next day, my jacuzzi suite was ready and for the next 5 days, I was in paradise..... ...

This hotel is a comfortable place to rest, with good service and polite staff. It's very, very quiet inside. It's convenient and offers a very nice discount for clinic visits at the Texas Medical Center.
