We're used to 4 & 5-star hotels. This place was great for kids for a max. 2 days. After that, all 5 of us (3 kids) got very bored of the same old waterpark, the same old artery-clogging, tasteless, overpriced food. Rooms were fun tho' -- got the 2 bunk beds/ LCD kids' TV, large room for 5. Higher floors are quieter than the main floor rooms with access straight to waterpark. Service was okay, not great. Their spa is mediocre at best. Had to ask masseuse REPEATEDLY to apply a bit more pressure. Use a reputable spa at home instead. Had to go with kids to Marriott penthouse restaurant for a gourmet dinner, great service & breathtaking view of Niagara Falls. Been there, done that, never going back....
This is a great hotel for kids they have story time at 8 o'clock you have breakfast with the mascotts. But the hotel is off by itself no restaurants are really near by so mark out where you want to go for dinner before hand. The rooms all come with

Definitely not a 4 star hotel.
Far too expensive for what you get especially meals
No "real" restaurants
I mean how often can you go down the same waterslides? Even the kids were tired of it. We expected a lot more entertaining things to do. The Wheels Inn in Chatham offers more and don't pretend to be a 4 Star hotel.

Food is very expensive so take your own or be prepared to leave the property. I mean $60 for breakfast for 4 ? Really. Staff really don't seem to care and seem oblivious to the impact they have of their guests. Everything is wristband accessed so room access, to charging to your account, to accessing lockers at the park is all based on a electronic chip. This is a really neat system IF IT WORKS ! They had to replace my wristband 6 times ! No apology after being locked out of our room twice due to the hotel checking us out in error. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and patroned a lot of amusement parks. This one is OK but based on value for the dollar you should probably consider others.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel because of all the amenities that we avialable to use. They had a water park, out door pool, and out door hot tub. The rooms we very clean and well looked after. The service was friendly and fast. The only negative is that we had to drive a while to get to the Falls, which is why we travelled to Niagara Falls in the first place. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

On Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, we stayed one night at Great Wolf Lodge, Niagara Falls, taking advantage of a Local Appreciation special for Niagara residents, advertised to have rates starting at $149 (for a family suite, with balcony). GWL also offers more expensive themed rooms, such as the Kids Cabin. However, we asked if there were lower priced rooms available, and were offered a family suite, without balcony, for only $119. With taxes (GST 6%, room tax 5%), total price for our stay was $132.09. Room #1001 was located on the first floor (one level below the lobby), at the very end of a long hallway.
Admission for two full days to the waterpark was included (for 2 adults, 2 children). On the day of check in, we arrived at 1:00 pm (official room check in time is 4:00 pm). Our room was ready, but had it not been ready, we would have been allowed to go to the waterpark for the afternoon while waiting for our room. Next morning, check out was at 11:00 am. If desired, we could have kept our wristbands on and stayed at the waterpark all day, until 10:00 pm (closing time). Even after check out, your wristband will allow you access to the lockers at the waterpark until 10:00 pm that night. The family suite without balcony is their most basic room. It is, however, a very comfortable room, attractively decorated in a rustic theme, having two queen beds, and a very tall ceiling height. A partition wall (about 6.5 feet high) separates the sleeping area from a small living area, which has a sofa (pull-out bed), coffee table, and dining table with two chairs. Our window overlooked the outdoor pool area. The room also has a kitchen counter with microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. I appreciated the supply of coffee, and the set of four coffee mugs (instead of paper coffee cups).
The main attraction here is the waterpark, Bear Track Landing, open only to guests of the hotel. Operating hours are from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm. All guests must wear wristbands (issued by the front desk on check in). Towels are provided at a stand just inside the entrance doors. A microchip inside your wristband will allow you to use a locker, for no charge, inside the change rooms. The most thrilling water slides are accessed by climbing a tall flight of stairs. The ?Niagara River Run? is a roller coaster type water slide, featuring many dips and a conveyer belt which pulls your raft (capacity 3 riders) back up hills. The other major thrill slide is the ?Woolly Mammoth?; riders hold on for dear life in a round raft (capacity 4 people). My son?s favourite ride was the ?Canada Vortex?. Riders can go on single inflatable tubes, or ride with a friend on a double tube; you?re shot down a dark enclosed tunnel, then out into a big round bowl, the size of a room. Your tube might go around three or four times before being sucked down into the centre of the bowl, to the end of the slide. There are about five more water slides, plus a few more for younger children (48? or less). Plenty of other water activities are included, such as a lazy river, a giant water fort with spray guns, water wheels and a tipping bucket, a rope course over a pool, a wave pool, and a swimming pool area with water basketball.
To top it all off, there are three hot tubs: one family tub (the temp is not so hot here), a nearby adults-only tub, and an outdoor adults-only tub (the entry to this hot tub is inside). There is also an outdoor water park, but we did not visit this area, as it was a cool October weekend during our stay. We did, however, see a few hardy souls swimming in the outdoor pool.
My only complaint about our entire experience at GWL is the noise level at the waterpark. Most people won?t likely be as bothered by the noise as I was, as I am prone to auditory overload. At times, I felt like I was in an airplane hangar with jet engines running. There are so many layers of noise echoing inside this cavernous indoor park, from water splashing, to engines whining, exhaust fans blowing, girls shrieking, lifeguard whistles blowing, and to top it off, loud bass-heavy music blasting. To overcome the noise (if one is sensitive), I suggest wearing earplugs. I also found some respite from the racket at the adults-only hot tubs, especially the outdoor one.

My family and I travelled to this hotel and stayed two nights and three days. It was a great, friendly and clean hotel. The employees are top-notch, even taking my preschooler to the icecream buffet while I finished my dinner. The employees were very friendly when we were in search of something and the cleaners are always friendly, making sure to say hello when you walk by them. The water park had my family thrilled every minute of the day. There are life guards at every nook and cranny making sure everyone is safe. They have a self serve towel kiosk, where you can receive a nice clean warm towel and dispose of there when you are finished. The food was great and inexpensive. The location is great, not a far drive if you are planning on some site seeing. The only thing they did not have was a private nursing area for mothers who nurse and if you have checked out of your room you have no where to feed your little one. If travelling with an infant be sure to bring a stroller, not just your carseat, it will save your arms and the child will have somewhere to sit.

This resort was ABSOLUTELY incredible. With 13 HUGE indoor water slides, wave pools, state of the art arcade, comfortable well-lit atmosphere, and a great dining experience, i have to say, this resort is one of THE BEST i have ever set foot on. This resort is not only great for children of all ages, but many adults and seniors can enjoy themselves with the various facilities they have. The only negative comment i have to make is the small rooms for such a large price you have to pay. the sink is situated OUTSIDE the washroom, so if u decide to use the tap at night, you may risk waking up others! The washroom is also quite small having only enough room to fit a toilet and a bathtub with a shower head. Besides that, i must say this resort is one of Niagara Falls finest resorts, and is worth a look into!

We went to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls as part of our summer vacation. It is a great hotel.
The indoor water park is very large and includes a roller coaster water slide, a funnel slide, tube slides, body slides, kiddie slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, a snack bar, an outdoor pool, a family slide, and a water climber with large tipping bucket. The resort is lodge themed.
There are many places to eat. Pizza Hut Express is a quick way to get some yummy food, conveniently located next to the water park. There is also a coffee shop, a café, and Camp Critter and Antler Shanty and Grill, a themed sit-down restaurant and buffet.
There is a gift shop with souvenirs and two snack shops located in the water park, and at the outdoor pool. There is tons to do here. There is the Cub Club where the kids can participate in daily activities and crafts, there is a relaxing spa, there is mini golf, an arcade, and order-in room movies.
The rooms are very comfortable. The bunk beds in the Wolf Den, Kid Camp, and Kid Cabin rooms are great for the kids, and in those suites there are two TVs so the kids can watch a different movie or program than the adults.
There are many activities at the hotel, and I overall recommend it.
