We got upgraded which was nice, but the rooms, while nicely decorated were dark. Our room was over the pool area and the thump, thump of the nightclub music was annoying. There was no kleenex in the room. Most irritating was the elevators. We waited so long on Sunday for "our turn" (people were trying to get down to the lobby to check out)that we opted to use the stairs. We were on the 21st floor! Ouch! Breakfast buffet was good. Location was ok, not on regular strip. Nice enough place, nothing too extraordinary.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Grand Sierra Resort Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

A very dissapointing stay - I was there attending a professional conference, but there was nothing professional about the environment. The room was worn and incredibly tacky. The furniture was decorated with cowboy fabric, the type that might be...

Okay
First, I'll explain the demerits below. Casino buffets are always "functional". They now allow dogs but I don't know if dogs are limited to specific rooms. I don't expect the used bars of soap to be still in the room. Charge for internet is high in...
I have been to this buffet twice now and I love it. I am sure there are better buffets that costs more but for 7.77 with a players card you can't beat it! I love the salads and desserts. I have not tried everything yet. There are many choices and ca

Excellent
We took advantage of their half price promotion and could not be more satisfied. We had a great time. Hotel staff was very friendly and very accomadating. Rooms were newly remodeled.
The only flaw we found was the short supply of smoking...
