Hotel Review - Posted Aug 18, 06
30 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The pool was amazing. It was the perfect temperature and very pleasant. The buffet was average in taste, and was priced very high. I did not want to eat anything, but my niece needed breakfast. I still had to pay, even though I did not eat anything.

This hotel made me feel secure: We were staying at another hotel and felt like we were not safe. We had stayed at Hilton many times before, but did not want to this time because the price had been raised. However, we felt very uncomfortable at the other hotel and felt very at-ease in the Hilton when we transferred there.

I am very likely to return to the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

The room and the casino were great. The cocktail waitresses could have come around more often. The workers in the Chevy's restaurant were clearly understaffed and stressed and the quality of food and service suffered. We sat without drinks and chips for half an hour.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The beds were comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel for New Year's Eve. This Hilton has everything from clean rooms to casinos to bowling. It was so good that we spent one day going around in the hotel itself.

51 year old woman with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

We have stayed here many times in the past, although going last year was the first since about 1999. It is always our favorite hotel when we go to Reno.

They pretty much have everything under one roof and that's why we love it so much. We never leave the doors once we arrive from the airport. There is shopping and theater and salon downstairs. The shops are to die for. The theater is small and quaint. The Hilton has a restaurant for any type of palette. We usually hit "The Lodge Buffet" for breakfast, and lunch too, if we have one of their great shows to catch. Of course, they have "everything" done quite well!

The Hilton has great gambling. Lots of different styles, so no matter what your favorite is, they'll have it. The rooms are warm and inviting, quite comfortable. We've stayed in a suite once (which was incredible!) but normally a regular room with a king bed. The rooms are upscale, the decor good, not "glitzy", but you kind of feel at home. They take good care of you here. I would highly recommend this hotel. Catch a comedy show, dance show or go bowling in the huge bowling alley if you want to get away from gambling for just a little while. It's the best in Reno.

I am very likely to return to the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I appreciated that it was close to airport, it had a good hotel shuttle and a friendly reception. I liked the casino and the rewards center.

This hotel made me feel entertained: There were good casino action available, background music not too loud, cashier services conveniently located and beverages offered often.
