Awful

At first glance the hotel appeared to be nice, clean and easy check in. As the stay lengthened the service worsened, extremely rude cocktail waitress on the casino floor who demanded we answer her after we had told her previously we did not want anything to drink, terrible room service of 2 1/2 hour wait time for breakfast and when it arrived was stone cold. We could not wait to get out of this hotel.

34 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and we were both very pleased. The room was very clean, spacious and well decorated...very modern. The bathroom was just as impressive. It was an all-marble bathroom with a huge glass shower. An added treat in the bathroom was a flat screen tv (there was a flat screen tv in front of the bed as well).

I would definitely recommend this hotel. They have something to do for everyone. There are plenty of slots & gambling tables, a mini mall, bungee jumping, go carts, driving range, arcade and pool party for the younger crowd at night. If you want a change in scenery, you can go to downtown Reno where the other casinos are which is only a few miles away.

For a quiet, romantic dining, I would recommend Dolce which is located in the resort as well. The food was tasty.

For those who are addicted to Starbucks...there's one at the lobby.

It is super gorgeous and comfortable! The bed has a fake fox throw about a foot wide that is as long as the width of the bed and the softest fake fur I ever touched. The two blankets are also the softest I ever touched.

46 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I've stayed at this hotel for years when it was the Hilton. The new ownership has really changed it for the better. The renovations are unbelievable, and I almost didn't recognize it. The new restaurants and the wine bar are amazing, and the renovated rooms are some of the best I've ever stayed in. Great service, great atmosphere. Tons for the kids to do, the new pool is fantastic. It's better than alot of brand new hotels. Highly recommended!

60 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms. The bathroom was awesome with a TV mounted near the huge shower! Everything was clean, quiet and very nice. We did however get a hint of a smokey cigarette smell every now and then. We stayed for one week for a conference. It was very nice.

I am very likely to return to the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
