A nice property with some interesting features like the incorporated shop house, natural skylight lobby and in close proximity to many places of interest. Grand Plaza Park City Hall is the second hotel under Park Hotel Group in Singapore. sg 03/08 Done in sandstone color, the building was built over a historical lane which incorporated some old shop houses. This is now at the back of the hotel where the spa is.This little hidden corner of the hotel can be accessed via the cafe downstairs or out the back of the lobby. Located on the corner of North Bridge Road and Armenian Street, the hotel is just around the corner from the City Hall MRT station. Also across the street is the Funan Shopping Centre famous for computer fans. Places of interest within walking distance from the hotel are Fort Canning Park, the Armenian Church, the Anglican Church, the Asian Civilisation, Philatelic, National and Art Museums. Also about 10 to 15 minutes walk is the Singapore River and beyond that, Chinatown.
