Grand Hotel Tijuana

I took two clients to the Grand Hotel to watch the Mayweather/De La hoya fight and then stay the night and leave the next day. When we arrived, I gave the clerk my credit card and I.D. He ran my card charged me for the room, and then handed me a card that came from my bank, but was not my card. In fact it was a stolen card reported by the owner as stolen. When the clerk returned my card it was actually the other persons stolen card. Later that evening I tried to use my card and that was when I found out about the switch. I returned to the hotel to ask them to give me my card and they said they couldn't find it and the person who checked me in couldn't be reached. I asked them to contact the police and they refused to do so. I called my bank and explained to them what had happened and they told me that this hotel has done this before. Also, they ran up a bill of over $800.00 in one night before I could cancel my card. I am giving everyone fair warning. Do not stay at this hotel! They are thieves and they can really screw up your day. Also the service there was terrible. I would love to sue this hotel, but the international laws make it impossible.
