This is a very good and sumptuous hotel with a very good location, ideal to reach the major attractions and well connected by public transport. 03/07 A.DP. This is an impressive building, dating from 1860. It has rose coloured columns and stone carved windows and portilos. The hotel is very centrally located, in one of the famous shopping street of Rome, Via Del Corso. It is also very close to Spanish Steps and all the major attractions.

Good
Most hotel rooms in Europe are small, especially a big, populace city like Rome. We opted for an upgraded larger room. Our first room faced out of the hotel - great view, but there was way too much noise. We switched rooms the next night and...
40 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I WISH I had read the previous review before booking here. The photos of the main common areas are true to the website, such as the beautiful ballroom and the elegant dining area, but who uses a ballroom? The day concierge was the rudest person I have ever encountered in travel, unless he was speaking to an Italian traveler. I think they don't want to look friendly to Americans. The maid cleaning the room was pleasant and one front desk/check in person really tried to make up for everyone else on staff.
This hotel is a rip off for the amount of money you'll pay. The location is wonderful, and the room was quiet, but that's about all it had to offer. The man who checked us in was rude and talked to us like we were 4 year olds. The Lemon...
MY WIFE AND I SPENT 8 WONDERFULL DAYS AT THE PLAZA AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY. IT IS WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING. THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND THE FOOD IN THE BAR WAS GOOD. WE WOULD GO BACK IN A HEART BEAT...

Okay
The location is right in the middle of a busteling shopping and sight seeing district. Breakfast is good. The interior of the rooms do show the age of the hotel.
This is a terrific hotel. I had read some negative online reviews and was worried that when I got there, it would be grubby, unfriendly etc. Nothing could be further from the truth! The members of staff were very helpful. The room was spotless. ...
I loved the suite ... it was the best hotel i have ever stayed ... went also to DANIELLI hotel in Venice but didn´t like this much !!!The bedroom was great with a huge fireplace and couches, and the bathroom was enormous made in black marble...
